Second Match Monday, July, 7 2008 Cease fire Range goes cold at 5:00PM
Come out and give bowling pin shooting a try, it is a "Blast", and you can shoot .22's and up. .22's work surprisingly well though the .45's and .44's leave "No Doubt" when they take the pin off the table. Please let me know if you are planning on shooting, we can handle a lot of shooters but I would like to know how many tables we need to set. Spouses, Juniors and Guests are welcome as well, they must be safe shooters, follow instructions, and Juniors (under 21) must be accompanied by the parent/guardian to, at and from the firing line. If you don't have a pistol don't worry, we will have a loaner available. If you are fair skinned, you may still need Sun Screen. Bring bug repellant, the more deet the better, with the our normal rains the "Critters" may be out in force, it's hard to shoot accurately when the bugs are "buggin" you. Fees:
We may also have a 50/50 by division if anyone is interested. "Eyes and Ears, the Range is Hot!" Thanks, Dave Chandler
P. S. Hey "No Show" you are welcome to, if you come a little late we'll squeeze you in, we understand demanding work schedules. :-) 6/23/08 BoD Meeting Minutes Click Here Emergency Meeting Minutes 6/22/08 - Meeting Minutes Click Here NOTICE: - 5/10/08 Summer Bowling Pin League Our first annual Summer Bowling Pin League will be held on the first Monday of June, July, August and September. Matches will start 2 1/2 hours prior to sunset, this will allow 2 hours of shooting. Please arrive 1/2 hour prior for sign up and set up. June match will be 6/2/08, Range will be called cold at 5:40 PM, this allows
10 minutes for set up, shooting to start at 5:50 PM, Cease fire will be at
7:50PM whether we are done or not.
We plan on having a 29 pin 5 table match. .22's work very well, each table is limited to 30 rounds, bring enough magazines or speed loaders so that you can shoot 30 rounds. All Divisions maximum magazine loading is 10 rounds, shoot your 33 round mags if you want but don't load more than 10 rounds in the magazine , over loading will result in a FTDR penalty or 20 seconds or disqualification. Revolvers are limited to 6 rounds per cylinder to give everyone with a revolver as level of a playing field as possible. If your revolver holds more rounds only load 6 per reload. If you have any questions contact the Match Director Dave Chandler at Secretary@osarange.com or V.P. Al Nye he can
answer your questions as well.
