Ocala Sportsman’s Association, Inc. New Club Members Procedures 1. 2. Print out the Application Form and Waiver Form. Fill them out and sign all forms. Mail them to the above address along with a check or USPS Money Order for the appropriate amount for initiation fees and annual dues (Fees listed on the membership application, family membership is $125 per year for primary member, plus $20 per year for spouse or dependent living at home under 21, plus a $75 one time initiation fee). All fees are Non-Refundable.3. Application will be reviewed by the Board of Directors (BOD). No one will be calling you, if you have questions, please contact a Board member. Plan on attending the next Orientation. 4. You must attend a mandatory Range Orientation class, which is held on the first Sunday of each month. Please arrive at 9:45 AM, the gate will be un-locked and the orientation should be completed by 12:00 pm, Leave your guns in the car! 5. After the orientation the Prospective members will become Probationary Members and will need to get 3 sign offs to ensure knowledge of Range Safety rules.6. Probationary members must obtain three (3) signatures from designated Board members or OSA Officials attesting to the new member’s knowledge of OSA rules, procedures and safe gun handling skills.7. During the probationary period:Following the probationary period and successful completion of the signed probationary checklist, and acceptance by the Chief Range Officer the new member will be issued his/her official member badge and their unique personal gate code. 8. Every effort will be made to help prospective members. In the event the probationary member can not complete the requirements in the time allotted they must contact the BoD to request an extension. Exceptions will be made at the discretion of the Board of Directors.Range hours are: Mon thru Sat. 9:00am to 1/2 hour before sunset, Sun 1:00pm to 1/2 hour before sunset. You must always wear your membership card at the range, and follow the commands of the Range Officer. Be sure to sign-in, and if you are the last to leave the range, lock the storeroom and bathrooms, and leave the keys in their proper location (not in your pocket). We want all members to enjoy their visits to our facility, however SAFETY is always our highest priority at the OSA Range. Thank you, The OSA requires 100% Adult Membership in the NRA.
